Omron Photoelectric Sensor E3T-FT11

The OMRON E3T-FT11 photoelectric sensor is a diffuse reflection (also known as retro-reflective) photoelectric sensor in the OMRON E3T series.

Different from the through-beam E3T-FL22 mentioned in the previous article, each has its own advantages and disadvantages:

1. An advantage is that wiring only needs to be done once, making installation easier, without the need for separate transmitter and receiver mounting on opposite sides, as with through-beam sensors.

2. A disadvantage is that the detection range is shorter than that of through-beam sensors of the same level, and detection performance is significantly affected by object color, surface material, and shape.
